An Evening for the Eyes and Ears

After years of joyful gatherings under the name Musical Feast for the Eyes and Ears, we are thrilled to announce a reimagined experience: An Evening for the Eyes and Ears. This signature event will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

 Our refreshed event name reflects AURORA’s continued evolution—an organization rooted in inclusion, advocacy, and community connection. While the name may be new, the spirit of the evening remains unchanged: a heartfelt celebration in support of individuals in Central New York who are blind, visually impaired, deaf, hard of hearing, or Deafblind.

 This year, we are proud to introduce a new tradition by honoring not an individual, but a partner whose unwavering support has made a lasting impact. We are excited to recognize Lions Club International as our inaugural Partner of the Year, celebrating their commitment to vision and hearing health and their steadfast support of AURORA’s mission.
