Learn the candidates' positions on different issues that affect people with disabilities and seniors living in the City of Syracuse and Onondaga County.
Wednesday, October 11 from 1pm to 4pm at the Rosamond Gifford Community Room (518 James St. Syracuse).
Candidates for public office answer questions of concern from members of the Onondaga County disability community. Issues include accessible housing, safe streets for pedestrians and snow shoveling and sidewalk maintenance, emergency planning, Uber cabs, and rental discrimination.
Three separate panels will answer questions: for the following offices:
- Syracuse Mayoral Candidates (1:00-2:00pm)
- Syracuse Common Council Candidates (2:00-3:00pm)
- Onondaga County Legislature Candidates (3:00-4:00pm)
